Jadeite Pendant with sapphire-Designed by Jessica Chen

Last month, the gentle man stepped in the studio, looked for the custom jewelry for his gf. It's quite understandable that he chose the jadeite Ru-Yi as the subject. In Chinese culture, Ru-Yi can be considered as the lucky charm. The lady is in her 20's, so the task would be how to make the jadeite jewelry less conventional. For that I used the bright color sapphires to creat vivid impression. And there's the pair of pink sapphires suspend from the bottom of Ru-Yi, also represent the young couple.

Lavender Jadeite Pendant ─Designed by Jessica Chen
The large lavender jadeite cabochon is hard to find.
I tried to make it as classical Chinese style.
Here's my sketch and the final piece.

Lavender Jadeite Bouquet Ring - Designed by Jessica Chen

Instead of flourishing-garden-like style,
the ring was created with bouquet-like elegance.
The cabochon could be replaced by icy jadeite(the good quality one).

Emerald Diamond Ring- designed by Jessica Chen

This is one of my jewelry design collection.
We were working on this ring for 5 weeks.
From the profile view, you'll see the emerald cabochon is tapered,
with the ruby raindrop falling at both side.
To make the contrast image,
the colorless diamonds are mounted on black 18k gold.
What I was trying to do is to bring the Gothic spirit but modest enough that you may like to wear it everyday, with any apparel styles.

Lavender Jadeite Bangle - Designed by Jessica Chen

Alluring color stones encircle the large lavender jadeite cabochon.
Like walking into the mysterious garden,
Something is hidden beneath.
